Can your inspiration really be your motivation?

Everyone has something that inspires them whether that be a person, song, words or something that has a personal meaning. But could that same thing that inspires you; be your motivation to do something bigger than what you're already doing? I say yes, and here's the reason why. If you have something that keeps your focused (your inspiration) then I say that could definitely push you into being exactly the person you want to become. Think about it this way, has someone ever given you a compliment? Hopefully, you answered yes, and after that compliment, you start to think positively because all of a sudden someone has said something kind to you. After that, you are put into a good mood because someone has just made you feel great. It's the same thing with your inspiration this is what makes you feel good so when you are feeling down and think I can't do this anymore, something clicks in your head and that's your inspiration telling you to keep going. Therefore your inspiration is motivating you to keep going because whatever road you take in life will not be easy but it is worth the journey.

Frustration

Everyone deals with frustration day in and out. Some people either explode under the pressure or they never let someone get under their skin. But the question is how long can you be frustrated and not respond? It's a matter of being the bigger person in various situations and I know of course easier said than done, right? No wrong, I believe if given the opportunity to step back from the situation and analyze all points of view you might learn something about that situation. Most individuals want to be right in this particular instance, but maybe think wow maybe I'm wrong and this other person could be right about their reasoning. Today looking through social media I saw a post from an account saying be a bottle of water and not a bottle of soda. The person behind those words explained that when you shake a bottle of soda and then you finally open the cap it explodes because of that built up pressure; but when you shake a bottle of water and then open the cap the water has settled back to its original state before it was opened. Therefore, even though we all have our bottle of soda moments we have to push ourselves to be that bottle of water by keeping our emotions calm and not always feel the need to explode.

Welcome

Hello All,
My name is Melissa Solomon, I am currently a college student at Quinnipiac University. At the age of eight years old I won an essay contest and got to meet the Governor of Massachusetts, Deval Patrick, and other State House Representatives. The article is called Lobbying at Age 8, it was a great experience. I have been constantly thinking about the idea of writing but now I believe it is the perfect time to voice my witty humor. I just wanted to create this blog to voice my feelings how trends in the media and real situations affecting people all throughout the world. The concept black and white is to get just true and honest opinions from me and to just show the plain and simple breakdown of my thoughts on popular ideas today in the media. The idea is to portray this clear cut view of how I breakdown information. Thus portraying this "black and white" concept of my thoughts. I just want to throw out fun topics that are interesting to various types of people. Thanks for checking this out! Feel free to comment and subscribe!
